Nurul-Yaqeen Charity Foundation Donates N1.5m to BUK Staff Model Primary School

The Nurul-Yaqeen Charity Foundation, a humanitarian and developmental non-governmental organization, donated N1.5 million to the Bayero University Staff Model Primary School. The presentation took place at the school's premises on the Old Campus.

Professor Muhammad Attahir Dawood, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, highlighted the foundation's previous contributions, including:

- Distributing 250 sets of uniforms and shoes to pupils in the last two years

- Donating 600 cows to the school during the last Eid festivities

- Donating N2 million to Dawood Islamiyya School for the benefit of the surrounding community

Dr. Kabiru Bello Dungurawa, Chairman of the Governing Board, commended the foundation's efforts and appealed to the university management to improve the school's infrastructure and provide a conducive learning environment.

Professor Sani Ibrahim, Chairman of the Parent Teachers Association, thanked the foundation and promised to utilize the donation judiciously for renovating and erecting dilapidated buildings.

The Principal, Mal Uba Imam, expressed gratitude on behalf of the staff and wished the foundation continued blessings in their activities.

The donation aims to support the school's development and improve the quality of education for its pupils.
