Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam Campus, has announced the public sale of freshly harvested, organic vegetables from its Healthy Living farms, established under the visionary leadership of Prof Kate Azuka Omenugha. This initiative aligns with Dr Nonye Soludo's Healthy Living project, promoting healthy living, environmental stewardship, and community engagement.
The university's Healthy Living farms, spanning several acres, utilize cutting-edge agricultural practices to cultivate a diverse range of organic vegetables, including pumpkins, spinach, sent leaves, kale, cucumber, bell peppers, and more. These fresh produce are now available for sale to the public, students, and staff every Thursday and Friday.
