The Central Executive Council of the Students' Union Government (SUG) of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago Iwoye, has announced the upcoming mandatory registration for all student associations and student-owned vehicles.

In an official notice dated March 21, 2025, the Union, under the leadership of President Muiz Olanrewaju Olatunji, emphasized that the registration process will take place in collaboration with the Chief Security Officer (CSO), the Dean of Student Affairs, and the SUG.

According to the announcement, the registration is in line with the university’s student code of conduct and aims to ensure proper documentation, security, and effective coordination within the institution. Associations that fail to comply risk losing their official recognition, while students with personal vehicles must register to ensure seamless movement on campus.

The official commencement date for the registration process will be communicated in due course. The SUG has urged all concerned students and associations to stay informed and await further updates regarding the required procedures.

The announcement was made by President Muiz Olanrewaju Olatunji, alongside General Secretary Saromi Omotolani Emmanuel. Other key executives, including the Public Relations Officer, Adeniji Gbemi Toyosi, and various vice presidents and directors, reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process.
