The union added that it reviewed the prevailing security situation before deciding to call off the industrial action, paving the way for teachers to return to classrooms.

Myschoolnews had reported that the teachers had embarked on the strike in response to concerns over the abduction of schoolchildren in Ogbomosho in Orire Local Government Area of the state, citing the need for improved security measures in schools across the state.
