Oyo State Students Receive Academic Support from Kasbell Grassroot Charity Foundation

In a bid to boost academic performance, students from selected primary and secondary schools in Oyo State have received support from the Kasbell Grassroot Charity Foundation through its back-to-school programme.

Beneficiaries include students from Community High School, Ajibode, Ibadan; Ansar-udeen Grammar School, Iseyin; Ladogan/Ijemba Community Prary School, Ladogan, Iseyin; and Elite Genius Educational Centre, Ibadan. The support ranged from school uniforms, school bags, writing materials, cash support, and even payment of SSCE fees.

The founder of Kasbell Charity Foundation, Mrs Lateefah Oluwakemi Bello-Salami, highlighted that the annual back-to-school programme has become a symbol of transformation and empowerment for the less privileged. She noted that the Foundation swings into action just before the start of the academic year, kicking off with a flurry of activities, from fundraising drives to gathering school supplies, uniforms, and books.

Bello-Salami expressed the foundation’s relentless dedication to this noble cause, which has garnered support from the immediate friends of the founder. She is looking forward to receiving more donations from the local community, philanthropists, and well-wishers.

She concluded by stating that the foundation will not relent in its efforts to ensure that Nigerian children, irrespective of their parents’ social and financial status, get educated.
