Plateau State University Aims for Excellence in Global University Administration

Plateau State University (PLASU) has set its sights on becoming a key player in global university administration through innovative reforms and capacity-building initiatives. A cornerstone of this ambition was the maiden Registry Week, held from November 26th to 28th, 2024, designed to inspire and enhance productivity among the university’s human resource managers.

Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Shedrack Best, highlighted the pivotal role of the registry in university success. "The success of the university depends on the registry. It's not about the location, infrastructure, or principal officers but about the quality of personnel and human capital," he remarked. He emphasized that a university's strength lies in maintaining accurate records, fostering knowledge, and serving as an information repository.
