Potiskum LGA Celebrates Outstanding Performance in 2nd Yobe Spelling Competition with Enthusiastic Walima Ceremony

The Potiskum LGA community recently celebrated a Walima ceremony to honor eight junior secondary school students who represented the area in the 2nd Yobe Spelling Competition. The highlight of the event was a public school student who achieved an impressive 2nd place in the state competition.
This accomplishment has garnered widespread praise, highlighting the resilience and dedication of Yobe's government schools amidst recovery efforts from the Boko Haram insurgency.
The event was attended by key leaders and stakeholders, including the Vice Chairman of Potiskum LGA, Secretary Council Pkm LGA, and other notable figures. Dr. Mohammed Goje was particularly recognized for his efforts in organizing the competition, which continues to inspire and empower students.
