President Tinubu appoints new chancellor for FULafia

His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria, has approved the appointment of His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Abubakar Isa Ahmadu, CFR, FFPM, the Emir of Mubi, as the new Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia).
The news of the appointment of the new chancellor was contained in a letter addressed to the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia, Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, dated October 23, 2023, and signed by Andrew, David Adejo, OON, the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Education.

The new chancellor succeeded the late Aku-Uka of Wukari, Dr Shekarau Angyu Masa Ibi, who passed away on October 10, 2021.
