UNIZIK Appoints Director, Deputy Director, Coordinators for School of Continuing Education

The Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Prof. Bond Ugochukwu Stanley Anyaehie, has approved the appointment of a Director, Deputy Director, Coordinators and Deputy Coordinators for the newly established School of Continuing Education.

Prof. Greg Obiamalu, former Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurship Programme (CEP), has been appointed as the new Director of the School of Continuing Education, while Prof. Nnaemeka Abamara will serve as Deputy Director.

Under the new arrangement, six Coordinators and seven Deputy Coordinators have also been appointed to oversee various categories and programmes within the School, including the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB), Sandwich, Pre-Degree and National Teachers Institute (NTI), among others.

According to an internal memo dated August 27, 2026, and signed by the Registrar, Dr. Chinenye Gloria Okeke, the strategic initiative is aimed at fostering innovation, skill development and entrepreneurial excellence within the University.

Consequently, all communications to the Vice-Chancellor on matters relating to the School of Continuing Education are to be channelled through the Director.

The Vice-Chancellor congratulated the appointees and expressed his expectation that the new leadership would record remarkable milestones in advancing the objectives of the School.
