President Bola Tinubu, represented by Minister of Education, Prof Tahir Mamman, reiterated the administration's dedication to education for human capital development during the 38th convocation ceremony of Bayero University Kano (BUK). Tinubu emphasized education as a top priority, stating that the government believes in the critical role of education in ensuring the nation's survival through quality human capital development.

Tinubu outlined the government's focus on skills, technology, and vocational education to prepare graduates for employment and entrepreneurship. He highlighted initiatives such as the establishment of skills and vocational hubs in polytechnics, entrepreneurship centers in universities, and the revival of Shanghai centers for integrated learning and development of Almajiri.

Furthermore, the government is building vocational schools in secondary schools nationwide to extend the impact of its policies across all levels of education.
