Presidential Amnesty Office Visits Hensard University, Promises Robust Partnership

Hensard University was honoured to host a delegation from the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) office led by its Head of Education, Mr. Charles Ariye.

The visit comes as part of PAP’s ongoing engagement with educational institutions where beneficiaries of the Amnesty programme would pursue their studies.

During the visit, the delegation undertook extensive tour and inspection of facilities at Hensard University's kick-off campus as well as its permanent site.

Mr. Ariye who was conducted round the university facilities by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dileep Kumar, and other senior Management Officers, said the Amnesty Office embarked on the visit in order to carry out a holistic inspection of the Hensard University. This, he said, was in accordance with the policy to train beneficiaries of the programme in a suitable environment that best enhances their natural talent.

Following the inspection, Ariye expressed satisfaction with quality of training and service facilities of the university, while also promising strong partnership with the university.

The visit by the Presidential Amnesty Office underscores Hensard University’s commitment to opening up opportunities for students to engage in transformative learning and become responsible professionals who would be committed to sustainable development locally and globally.
