Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Lafia – Prof. Mohammed Isa Kida, a distinguished professor of accounting and the Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences at FULafia, is set to deliver the institution's 24th Inaugural Lecture. Prof. Kida, who also serves as the Chairman of the Committee of Provosts, Deans, and Directors, will present his lecture on a topic of great relevance to Nigeria's public sector.

The lecture, titled "Unveiling the Dynamics of Financial Fraud in Nigeria's Public Sector: The Crucial Role of Accountants and Auditors in Perpetuating and Deterring the Menace," will explore the factors contributing to financial fraud within the public sector and examine how accountants and auditors can both contribute to and prevent such issues. Prof. Kida aims to shed light on the ethical responsibilities of financial professionals and the impact of their work on Nigeria's economic stability.
