In his submission, Professor Jami'u Ola Adedoyin-Raji believes that no diverse society, let alone an ethnically divided one as Nigeria is conflict-free, noting that what is important is that not all disagreements are eliminated, but are handled in a way that respects the interests of the different groups involved, noting that peace and security in Nigeria, just like any other ethnically divided post-conflict societies is something achievable and confirms that human rights should contribute in specific and practical ways so that it can be achieved.
