Taraba State University Matriculated 5471 Fresh Students

The Vice-Chancellor, Taraba State University, Jalingo (TSUJ) Digital Professor Sunday Paul Bako matriculated the newly admitted students into the various faculties of the University for the 2023/2024 Academic Session, myschoolnews Report.

The Matriculation had in attendance the Vice-Chancellor, DVC administration, DVC Academic, Registrar and Second Class CHief, other Senior Management Staff, Deans of Various faculties, Head of Departments, Students' Parents/Guardians and Guests from far and near.

The Registrar Mr. Joseph U. Bibinu invited the Vice-Chancellor and declared the programme opened.

The Matriculating students numbering to the total of 5,471 across faculties and Departments were administered oath of allegiance by the Registrar. The students pledged their allegiance simultaneously, and Signed the oath form.

The Vice-Chancellor presented his Matriculation address after standing on the already established protocol, and welcomed all to the Matriculation ground which marked the 14th in the history of the University. He congratulated the fresh students saying that as they will be taking matriculation oaths, it should also be a reminder to them always that the University will not condone any form of indiscipline by the students. 

The Vice - Chancellor stated out of over ten thousand students that applied for admission, only 5,471 were the fortunate to be admitted into the University, he however enjoined them to make judicious use of the opportunity as they are the privileged ones. He further stressed the need to be law abiding as the university is governed by rules and regulations.
