Prof. Raymond Bako Conferred as Fellow of Philosophers of Education Association of Nigeria

Prof. Raymond B Bako, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Nigeria, has been conferred as a Fellow of the Philosophers of Education Association of Nigeria (PEAN) during the association's 44th Annual Conference and Fellowship Investiture held at Usmanu Danfodio University, Sokoto, from October 27-31, 2025.

Prof. Bako is a Philosophy of Education scholar at ABU, Centre Leader of Africa Centre of Excellence on New Pedagogies in Engineering Education (ACENPEE), and a Fulbright Scholar (University of Maryland, 1998).

Bako has interests in innovative pedagogies like Cooperative, Hands-on, Active, Problem-solving Learning (CHAPL); trained at institutions like Washington State University, Tsinghua University, and MIT.

Member of African Engineering Education Association (AEEA) and collaborates with International Federation of Engineering Societies (IFEES); published in International Journal of Engineering Education (IJEE).
