Professor Shehu Usman Adamu Appointed Chairman of Security Trustees Board

Professor Shehu Usman Adamu, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), has been appointed as the Pioneer Chairman of the Board of Incorporated Trustees of the Network for the Promotion of Security and Safety of Cadastral Zone C00, Abuja. The appointment was made during the Network's inaugural board meeting held on October 30, 2025, in Abuja.

According to an official letter signed by the Executive Director of the Network, Mr. Fredrick A. Hayes, Professor Adamu's selection was based on his outstanding record of service, administrative expertise, and academic leadership.

The Network expressed confidence that under his leadership, the board will successfully pursue its objectives, particularly in strengthening security and safety within Cadastral Zone C00 of the Federal Capital Territory. Professor Adamu's appointment is expected to bring direction, credibility, and strategic insight to the organization's operations.
