Prophet Olu-Alo Distributes Over 2,500 Free Exercise Books to Ekiti Schools, Urges Government to Fund Primary Education

Prophet Sam Olu-Alo, leader of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain Worldwide, distributed over 2,500 free exercise books to indigent pupils in Ido-Ekiti, Ekiti State. He urged the government to prioritize funding primary education to support families in need and to address challenges in the sector.

In a bid to support education and alleviate the burden on indigent families, Prophet Sam Olu-Alo, the Planter of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain Worldwide, has distributed over 2,500 free exercise books to pupils in Ido-Ekiti, Ekiti State. The distribution took place ahead of school resumption on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.

During the event, Prophet Olu-Alo called on the government at all levels to prioritize funding primary education, emphasizing its importance as the foundation for producing future leaders. He noted that his initiative was aimed at contributing to the well-being of humanity, regardless of religious background, as Christian, Muslim, and traditional worshipping pupils all benefitted from the gesture.

The cleric stressed the need for increased government involvement in education, especially to support families struggling financially. He urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and state governors to address the rising cost of living, particularly in light of recent petrol price hikes, and called for swift intervention to improve the education sector.

Prophet Olu-Alo also congratulated the Olojudo of Ido-Ekiti, Oba Ilori-Faboro, on his 70th birthday, commending the monarch for his exemplary leadership and dedication to the community. He prayed for continued blessings, health, and wisdom for Oba Ilori-Faboro.
