In a landmark event for Redeemer’s University, Felix Ebe Favour Chinoso and Kehinde Anjola Praise, both from the Department of Psychology, made history by graduating as the overall best students with an exceptional CGPA of 4.96. This unprecedented achievement marks the first time in the institution’s history and among all private universities in Nigeria that two students have tied for the highest academic honors.

The university celebrated its 2024 convocation set ''More than Conqueror'', where a total of 1,440 students were awarded degrees, including 1,055 undergraduates and 385 postgraduates. Among the postgraduates, 33 earned PhDs, while 217 received master’s degrees and 135 were awarded postgraduate diplomas.

In his address, the Vice Chancellor expressed profound gratitude, stating, “As the Vice Chancellor, I stand before you today with a heart of gratitude to God for His grace and favor. We celebrate the triumph of perseverance, faith, and learning in this extraordinary moment—graduating the More Than Conqueror set.”

He emphasized the transformative nature of the university experience, stating, “Today, we are not just celebrating a combination of academic success; we are bearing witness to lives that have been transformed with faith and knowledge.”

The convocation also recognized 86 first-class graduates, including two distinctions from the Nursing Department, alongside 434 students graduating with second-class upper honors and 317 with second-class lower honors. Notably, this ceremony marked the inaugural graduation of students from the newly established Architecture, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering programs, highlighting a significant milestone in the university's development.
