Redeemer’s University Students Excel In Ican May 2026 Qualifying Exams
Redeemer’s University has recorded another strong performance by its Accounting students in the May 2026 diet of the qualifying examinations conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, ICAN, with eight candidates from 200 level to 400 level successfully passing the examination.
An official communication from the Department of Accounting confirmed that all listed students who sat for the examinations passed.
The successful candidates include Daramola Mary, 200 Level; Adekanla Ayomide, 300 Level; Ojedele David Olatomiwa, 300 Level; Odeyemi Moyinoluwa Elizabeth, 400 Level; Ijiola Olatomiwa Feyisola, 400 Level; Oyelayo Goodness Oyedamola, 400 Level; Taiwo Tomilola, 400 Level; and Erogbogbo Oluwabusola Similoluwa, 400 Level.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shadrach Olufemi Akindele, stated that the results underscore Redeemer’s University’s growing reputation for academic excellence in professional accounting education.
“The results further reinforce Redeemer’s University’s standing as a formidable nurturing ground for future chartered accountants in Nigeria,” he stated.
Dr. (Mrs) Temitope Worimegbe, Programme Coordinator of the Department of Accounting, expressed appreciation for the management’s continued support toward ICAN-related academic initiatives at the university.
She noted that the achievement reflects both the dedication of the students and the institution’s commitment to professional excellence.
“Hearty congratulations to all our students for their success in the May diet examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, ICAN. Of course, you have made the centre, department and university proud! Keep soaring higher. Congratulations!” she said.
