Rivers State University Hosts 118th Inaugural Lecture

The Rivers State University (RSU) recently hosted its 118th Inaugural Lecture, featuring Prof. Daniel Matthias, a Professor of Computer Science. The lecture, titled "From Algorithms to Impact: Harnessing Emerging Technologies for Socio-Economic Transformation," explored the potential of emerging technologies to drive socio-economic transformation.

The event was attended by former Vice-Chancellors of the University, including Emeritus Prof. S. C. Achinewhu, Prof. B. B. Fakae, Prof. Opuenebo B. Owei, Prof. Nlerum S. Okogbule, and former Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Boma Oruwari.

The lecture provided a platform for Prof. Matthias to share his expertise and insights on the potential of emerging technologies to drive socio-economic transformation.
