RSU Disclaims False Publication on 2025/2026 Academic Session Resumption

The Management of Rivers State University (RSU), Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, has dismissed as false a publication circulating on social media claiming that the 2025/2026 Academic Session will commence on Monday, October 6, 2025.

In a disclaimer issued by the University Management, RSU clarified that the information did not originate from the institution and should be disregarded by students, staff, parents, and the general public.

The statement emphasized that the University strictly follows its approved Academic Calendar and will announce official dates for resumption, vacation, and other academic activities only through its recognized communication channels.

Management therefore dissociated the institution from the misleading publication and cautioned against reliance on unauthorized sources of information.
