Sa'adu Zungur University (SAZU) has marked a significant milestone with the official unveiling of its Career Services Centre and Entrepreneurship Development Centre, alongside the commissioning of a 500KVA generator.
These initiatives aim to enhance the institution's capacity and promote excellence.
The Career Services Centre is designed to provide students with career guidance, job placement, and professional development opportunities. The Entrepreneurship Development Centre will foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and skills development among students.
The university's partnership with the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) has played a crucial role in driving these initiatives. The event was attended by esteemed dignitaries, including representatives of the Honorable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development and other top government officials.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Fatimah Tahir, has been instrumental in driving the university's transformation agenda. Her leadership and vision have positioned SAZU as a center of excellence in education.
These new centers are expected to have a positive impact on students' employability, entrepreneurial skills, and overall academic experience. The commissioning of the 500KVA generator will also improve the university's infrastructure and support its academic activities.
