The Student’s Representative Council (SRC) of Sa’adu Zungur University, Bauchi State, has issued a safety advisory urging students, particularly new enrollees participating in the ongoing physical screening exercise, to refrain from traveling at night.

The SRC, led by its president, Comrade Sani Aliyu, emphasized the importance of prioritizing safety, highlighting that many students have been traveling at night to meet the requirements of the screening process. The council expressed concern about the potential risks associated with night travel and encouraged all students to plan their journeys during daylight hours.

In a statement dated November 27, 2024, the SRC advised students to arrive during the day to avoid any unforeseen dangers. For those who must travel at night due to unavoidable circumstances, the council provided emergency contact numbers for assistance or inquiries.
