Sanko Educational Foundation Empowers 400 Indigent Students in Kaduna with Free UTME Forms and Exam Day Transport

The Sanko Educational Foundation has initiated a laudable effort by distributing free Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) forms to over 400 indigent students in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The founder of the foundation, Mr. Obadiah Sankyai, inaugurated the distribution in Kagoro, emphasizing that this benevolent act stems from his commitment to the grassroots development of education.

Mr. Sankyai, an educational entrepreneur, expressed his passion for education and his desire to give back to the community that contributed to his growth. The beneficiaries not only receive free UTME forms but also benefit from complimentary JAMB lessons and free transportation to their respective examination centers on the exam day.

In addition to this initiative, the foundation has ambitious plans to grant scholarships to 500 students from Kaura LGA before the end of 2024. Prof. Ben Gugong, Commissioner for Sports and Youths Development, commended the foundation for its outreach to the underprivileged in society. He donated an additional 200 forms through the foundation and encouraged other individuals and organizations to follow suit. Prof. Gugong pledged to collaborate with the foundation to secure admission for successful candidates.

Mr. Paul Ikom, the Nigeria Union of Teachers Chairman in the area, commended the initiative, highlighting the pivotal role of education in societal development. He assured support in ensuring that the forms reach those who need them the most.
