Senator Sunday Katung, representing Kaduna-South, has demonstrated his commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities in his senatorial district. On the occasion of the 2023 International Day for Persons With Disabilities in Kafanchan, Kaduna State, Senator Katung announced the provision of scholarships. Beneficiaries were selected from each of the eight local government areas within the senatorial district.

Expressing gratitude, Mr. Habila Achi, Chairman of the Southern Kaduna Association of Persons with Disabilities, highlighted the importance of including disabled persons in the list of beneficiaries for the Federal Government's three-month palliatives.
