Six FUOYE Students Pass ICAN Exams
Six students from Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) have successfully passed the 2024 Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) exams.
Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) continues to shine academically as six students have successfully cleared the 2024 Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) exams. This news follows closely on the heels of the announcement that six FUOYE graduates have won doctoral scholarships from prestigious universities in the United States and Brazil.

The newly certified Chartered Accountants are:
- Rojugbokan Oluwafemi
- Ajibade Gideon Opeyemi
- Oni Joshua Oluwafemi
- Opakunle Philip (all 400 Level)
- Abdulrazaq Abeeb
- Eretan Ibukunoluwa Deborah (both 300 Level)
Abeeb and Ibukunoluwa also hold leadership positions as President and General-Secretary of the FUOYE chapter of the Nigeria Union of Accounting Students Association (NUASA).

Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences, Prof. Babatunde Afolabi, expressed his delight over this achievement, attributing the success to the university's commitment to academic excellence under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Abayomi Sunday Fasina. He highlighted the continuous success within the Faculty and Department of Accounting, recalling last year's accomplishment when Miss Olatomide Ayomide Precious emerged as the overall best ICAN candidate in West Africa.
Prof. Afolabi praised the Vice-Chancellor and the management team for their support and dedication, which have been instrumental in fostering an environment of excellence and achievement.
