Skyline University Nigeria receives Khadija Memorial School

Skyline University Nigeria (SUN) has received with pleasure the final-year students of Khadija Memorial School in Kano.

The program was held on the 25th of January, 2024, at the recently inaugurated ultra-modern common room of the institution.

Dr. Sanjoy Pal, a faculty member in the department of microbiology at the university, delivered a lecture to the students on ‘Climate Change Awareness’. He introduced the concept of climate change and unveiled the numerous opportunities and innovations available for youth.

Dr. Pal stated that it is very important for the students to search for opportunities so that they can contribute to the country’s fight against climate change. He said that entrepreneurship today needs creative minds that will open doors of success to youth while solving an impending challenge.

Earlier, Mr. Lawi Isah, the assistant marketing manager at SUN, addressed the students about the variety of courses available for career advancement. He highlighted that the institution has five schools: Basic Medical Sciences (SBMS), Legal Studies (SLS), Arts, Management and Social Sciences (SAMSS), Science and Information Technology (SSIT) and Postgraduate Studies (SPGS).

On his part, Mr. Nitesh Varkhede, the head of the Corporate Affairs Department (CAO) at the university, informed the students about the short courses offered by SUN. He said the courses are fully accredited by renowned organizations such as ICDL and ACCA, among others.

 

In closing, the Director of Academic Support Services (DASS) at SUN, Ms. Sarada Maganti, appreciated the final-year students and their tutors for accepting the university’s invitation. She said that it is the hope of the management that the students will make the right career choices in the future
