Skyline University Nigeria trains Airtel, 9mobile Staff

Skyline University Nigeria (SUN) has successfully conducted a Pocket MBA program for the staff of Airtel and 9Mobile.

The program was held on Saturday, 10th February, 2024, at the campus of SUN. The university hosted over 62 participants from the two giant telecommunication companies.

The Vice-Chancellor of SUN, Prof. Ajith Kumar V.V., the guest lecturer at the program, delivered a lecture on ‘Intelligence Strategic Leadership’. He explained that leadership in high-ranking companies is often daunting and quite challenging. The Vice-Chancellor stated that for organizations to record consistent sustainable development, intelligence in strategic leadership is of utmost importance.

Leadership in companies that have a large pool of clients can be effectively managed by employing intelligence in strategic leadership, he added. He then encouraged the staff to adopt the concepts of emotional intelligence, professional development and mental wellness into their leadership activities, as they would allow them to take every member of their team along.

The staff who participated in the program expressed their utmost satisfaction with the delivery of the training. They admitted that the Vice-Chancellor was indeed the best person suited to facilitate the training. The participants also communicated their optimism with the university for future collaborations.

 

Airtel participants were from Kastina, Jigawa, Kano and Zamfara states.
