The Sokoto East Students Association has honored Distinguished Senator Ibrahim Lamido with an award in recognition of his relentless efforts to improve higher education in the region. The award ceremony took place today, Saturday, with the Economics students of Sokoto State University presenting the accolade to the Senator.

Senator Lamido, who was represented by Abdulmajid Adamu at the event, expressed his gratitude to the association for the recognition. In his address, he emphasized the importance of education and encouraged the students to focus on their studies and strive to be exemplary representatives of Sokoto State and Nigeria. "Study hard and be good ambassadors of our state and nation," he urged the students.
