Sokoto East Students Association Honors Senator Ibrahim Lamido for Contributions to Higher Education

The Sokoto East Students Association has honored Distinguished Senator Ibrahim Lamido with an award in recognition of his relentless efforts to improve higher education in the region. The award ceremony took place today, Saturday, with the Economics students of Sokoto State University presenting the accolade to the Senator.

Senator Lamido, who was represented by Abdulmajid Adamu at the event, expressed his gratitude to the association for the recognition. In a gesture of support for the students' initiatives, Senator Ibrahim Lamido made a generous donation of Three Hundred Thousand Naira (₦300,000) to the Sokoto East Students Association. The donation is intended to help further the association's educational projects and activities.
