The Sokoto State Government has announced the payment of school fees for indigent students studying at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS). This initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden on students and demonstrates the government's commitment to the welfare and growth of the student community.

The Federated Organization of Sokoto State Students Association (FOSOSSA) expressed their gratitude for this support. The organization's chairman, Comrade Danivalu Bello, highlighted that this act of generosity ensures that students have an equal opportunity to pursue their education without financial constraints.

FOSOSSA also clarified that the opening of the school portal is pending and that students will be notified with necessary instructions and updates as soon as it is available.
