Over one hundred books worth millions of naira have been donated to the University of Delta Agbor by Prof. Wilfred Ukpere, a Professor of Human Relations Management, University of Johannesburg, South Africa.

Over one hundred books worth millions of naira have been donated to the University of Delta Agbor by Prof. Wilfred Ukpere, a Professor of Human Relations Management, University of Johannesburg, South Africa.

Presenting the books to the University Management, the representative of Dr Ukpere, Mr Ewere Okonta, a lecturer in the Department of Business Administration, UNIDEL, said the donation of the books by the Agbor born Professor was to enhance the academic resources of the institution.

"As the saying goes, charity begins at home. It was on this light that our brother, Prof. Wilfred Ukpere decided to show his generosity by providing the books for staff and students in this citadel of learning.

The books which covers business, finance, psychology, entrepreneuship, management discipline as well as human relations were received by the Vice Chancellor of UNIDEL, Prof Stella Chiemeke, the Registrar, Barrister Richmond Omagbemi, the Bursar Mr Sunny Ikeogwu and the Librarian, Dr Mrs Vera Okonoko.

Prof. Chiemeke commended the donor, Prof. Wilfred Ukpere for his kind gesture. 

She noted that the books would be useful to both staff and students in the area of research.

"This is a laudable gesture from Prof. Wilfred Ukpere. We are indeed grateful to him and pray to God to grant him more success in his endeavours.
