During the presentation ceremony at Government College Umuahia, Mr. Dimiri emphasized that the donation aimed to ignite a passion for table tennis among the youth and transform Abia into a breeding ground for future champions. The Chairman also announced a scholarship opportunity for the Inter-Collegiate Championship, further motivating students to excel in the sport.

However, Mr. Dimiri set a clear condition for the scholarship recipients, stating, "No grade, no play." He stressed the importance of academic excellence alongside sporting prowess, emphasizing that students must maintain good grades to retain their scholarship positions.

During the ceremony, Mr. Obioma George, the Acting Director of the Abia State Sports Council, commended Mr. Dimiri for his dedication to youth development and the promotion of table tennis.
