Taraba ACReSAL to Partner with Federal Polytechnic Bali on Environmental Sustainability

The Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) Project has expressed its readiness to collaborate with the Federal Polytechnic Bali to address environmental degradation in Taraba State. The proposed partnership aims to combat deforestation and promote environmental sustainability.

The Polytechnic's management team, led by the Rector, Dr. Mohammed Usman, visited the ACReSAL State Office in Jalingo to discuss the proposal. The team sought support in providing tree seedlings as part of the institution's environmental rehabilitation efforts.

The Taraba State Project Coordinator of ACReSAL, Dr. Clement Yakubu Giwa, commended the Polytechnic's proactive stance on environmental issues. He emphasized that the partnership would align with ACReSAL's mission to enhance climate resilience and restore degraded lands through sustainable landscape and watershed management.
