Taraba State Governor Raises the Bar: Master's Degree Required for Secondary School Teachers

Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, has announced plans to elevate the minimum academic qualifications for teaching in the state's secondary schools. The governor revealed that a master's degree will be the minimum requirement for secondary school teachers, while a university first degree will be mandatory for primary school teachers.

Governor Kefas emphasized the commitment to improving education standards and urged journalists to monitor the implementation of the state's free education policy. He warned that anyone obstructing the policy would face consequences, emphasizing the importance of securing a bright future for the state's children.
