The Sports Director of Taraba State University, Mr. Friday Peter, and his dedicated team paid a courtesy visit to the institution's Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sunday Paul Bako, to discuss strategies for enhancing sporting activities within the university.

The meeting, held in the Vice Chancellor's office, was a significant step towards aligning sports initiatives with the university's objectives. Mr. Peter emphasized the multifaceted benefits of sports, citing its positive impact on physical and mental well-being.

During the visit, Mr. Peter outlined several plans aimed at promoting sports on the university's campus. These initiatives include:

Monthly Fitness Events: Organizing fitness sessions around the university campus in collaboration with VC staff and students every last Saturday of the month.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sunday Paul Bako, expressed his support for these ambitious sports initiatives. He assured the Sports Director that the university would promptly intervene to renovate and enhance key sports facilities. This commitment includes the renovation of track fields, football pitches, basketball courts, tennis courts, volleyball courts, table tennis facilities, handball courts, squash halls, and badminton courts.
