The agreement is a significant step towards resolving the ongoing strike, which was triggered by issues such as outstanding salaries, inactive pension schemes, and unimplemented national minimum wage.² The Taraba State Government has demonstrated its commitment to addressing these concerns, with Governor Agbu Kefas reportedly meeting over 70% of the union's demands.
