Barely 24 hours after the Management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University announced a ban on signing-out activities for final-year students, three students have been arrested for flouting the directive.

Reports indicate that some students who completed their final examinations gathered their friends and family members to sign on their shirts, assuming the restriction would not take immediate effect. A viral video shows security operatives storming a hall and arresting two young women and one young man for engaging in the outlawed activity.
