Tragic Road Accident Claims Lives of 11 Kenyan Varsity Students

A devastating road accident has resulted in the loss of 11 lives and left 42 others seriously injured after a bus carrying students from Kenyatta University collided with a truck. The tragic incident occurred at Maungu, approximately 360 kilometers from Nairobi, as the students were on their way to the coastal town of Mombasa.

According to police reports, the accident happened at 5:50 pm local time on Monday amid heavy rain. The bus reportedly skidded on the wet road while overtaking a fleet of vehicles, leading to a collision with a truck traveling in the opposite direction.
