Two Men Sentenced to 70 Years for Mutilating Six-Year-Old Pupil in Bauchi

In a shocking verdict, Adamu Abdulra’uf, 20, and Abdulkadir Wada, 21, have been handed 35 years in prison each for mutilating a six-year-old pupil, Hauwa'u Ya'u, in Bauchi.
The Chief Judge, Justice Rabi Talatu Umar, issued the sentence after the defendants pleaded guilty to charges of criminal conspiracy, causing grievous hurt, and attempting culpable homicide.
