UCH Ibadan Appoints New Head of Public Health Nursing Department

The University College Hospital, Ibadan, has announced the appointment of Mrs. Adegbola Grace Olaniran as the new Head of Public Health Nursing Department. Mrs. Oladiran assumed duty on Monday, September 1st , 2025.

Mrs. Oladiran expressed her gratitude to the hospital management for the appointment, saying, "I am honoured to take on this new role and I look forward to working with my colleagues to improve public health outcomes in our community. I am committed to leveraging my experience and skills to enhance the department's services and contribute to the hospital's growth."

Mrs. Oladiran brings a wealth of experience in public health nursing, with over two decades of service in various healthcare settings. Her qualifications include; Master of Science in Public Health: Lead City University of Nigeria, 2023; Master of Science in Social Work (Health Option):National Open University of Nigeria, 2012; Bachelor Degree of Nursing Science (BNSC): National Open University of Nigeria (2012), Diploma in General Nursing (RN): Oyo State College of Nursing Ibadan, 1992; Diploma in Midwifery (RM): Oyo State College of Midwifery Ibadan, 1995. 

She is presently pursuing her PhD. in Public Health at Lead City University, Ibadan.

The Chief Medical Director, Prof. Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo congratulates Mrs. Oladiran on her appointment, stating, "We are confident that her expertise and leadership skills will enhance our public health nursing department and contribute to the hospital's mission."
