UDUS Graduate Bello Humulkhair Shares His Inspiring Journey to First-Class Honors

Bello Humulkhair, a Biochemistry graduate of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS), has achieved academic excellence by graduating with First Class honors. His journey from uncertainty to academic excellence is a testament to the power of determination, focus, and self-belief.

Humulkhair's academic journey began with uncertainty. Initially interested in studying medicine, he discovered his passion for biochemistry after a chance encounter with a textbook. This sparked his interest in the subject, and he decided to pursue it.

Despite facing challenges, including being a stranger on campus with no mentors or friends, Humulkhair persevered. He studied alone, adopted a strict study routine, and limited his circle of friends to focus on his academics. His hard work paid off, and he improved his grade point average (GPA) significantly.

As he entered 300-level, Humulkhair faced the fear of a potentially tough academic year. However, he chose to rise above it, adopting a new approach to studying and seeking advice from academic mentors. His determination and focus enabled him to excel, and he eventually secured a First Class degree with a CGPA of 4.61.
