The University of Education and Entrepreneurship (UEE), Akamkpa, has officially flagged off its Students’ Dress Code Initiative as part of efforts to promote decency, discipline, professionalism and a positive institutional image among students.

The initiative, organised by the Dean of Students’ Affairs, Dr. Peter Tawor, forms part of the university’s continued commitment to fostering good character, decent dressing, responsible conduct and a culture of discipline among its students.
Representing the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Patrick N. Asuquo, at the flag-off ceremony, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Dr. Benedict I. Ugbong, urged students to embrace and uphold a decent dressing culture that reflects the values and standards of the university.
Dr. Ugbong reminded the students that they are ambassadors of UEE wherever they go and should conduct themselves in ways that promote the good image and reputation of the institution.
He further encouraged the students to see the dress code not merely as a regulation but as an important aspect of discipline, self-respect, personal development and preparation for professional life.

The ceremony was attended by members of the University Management, including the Registrar and the University Librarian, as well as staff and students.
