UI Physiotherapy Class of 2000 Bolsters UCH Healthcare Delivery with Solar Power Donation
The University of Ibadan (UI) Physiotherapy Class of 2000 has donated and commissioned a 5.5 kVA solar inverter to the Physiotherapy Department of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan. The donation was officially handed over on 12th January, 2026.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, the class representative, Dr. Olumide Dada, explained that the gesture was the class’s way of giving back to their alma mater. He expressed appreciation for the warm reception and recognition accorded to the class by the hospital management, noting that the donation reflects their gratitude and continued commitment to the institution that shaped their professional journey.
In his address, the Chief Medical Director of UCH, Professor Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo, commended the Physiotherapy Class of 2000 for their generosity and dedication to the advancement of healthcare services in the hospital.
