UITH Releases 2026/2027 Nursing Admission Form

The University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) has announced the commencement of admission into its College of Nursing Sciences for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The programme is for the OND/HND (4-Year Non-Terminal) General Nursing course, and interested candidates are invited to apply.

Admission Requirements

Applicants are expected to meet the following criteria:

Candidates must have sat for the 2026 JAMB examination with English Language, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics as subject combination.

A minimum score of 180 in the 2026 JAMB is required.

Candidates who did not initially select the College of Nursing Sciences, UITH, are required to visit any JAMB-accredited centre to effect a change of institution, making UITH their first choice.

Applicants must possess at least five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, obtained in not more than two sittings. NABTEB is accepted but cannot be combined with any other O’Level certificate.

Candidates must not be less than 16 years of age at the time of application and must have no criminal record.

Applicants must also not have any deformity of the hands.

Application Procedure

Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of all necessary documents on the application portal during registration for the purchase of the form. They are also expected to present hard copies of these documents at the screening centre.

The institution urged prospective applicants to ensure strict compliance with all stated requirements to avoid disqualification.
