In a statement issued on July 30, 2024, Suleiman acknowledged the frustrations driving these protests but emphasized the potential risks they pose to students' academic pursuits and safety.
Suleiman stressed that involvement in protests could disrupt the learning environment and negatively impact students' academic progress. Instead, he encouraged students to engage in constructive dialogue with the institution’s administration to address their concerns.
