UniAbuja Clarifies Court Order, Dismisses Misleading Reports
The University of Abuja (UniAbuja) has issued a statement to correct misleading reports regarding a federal high court order involving the Vice Chancellor, Professor Abdul-Rasheed Na'Allah.

According to the university, the court did not summon the Vice Chancellor or restrain him from inaugurating the newly elected internal council members. Instead, the court ordered that all defendants, including the Vice Chancellor, be put on notice of the motion filed by the plaintiffs.
The university clarified that the order was directed at the plaintiffs to serve the defendants within three days, and no court order has been received to restrain the university from taking any action.

The management expressed concern over the deliberate misrepresentation of the court order in the media, which they believe was calculated to embarrass the Vice Chancellor and the university. They urged the university community and the public to disregard these false and malicious publications.

The university reaffirmed its commitment to upholding the law and complying with any legitimate court orders.
