UNIABUJA Staff and Students Complete Advanced Training in Web Engineering and Machine Learning
Ten University of Abuja staff and students graduate from a 10-month AOTS training on Web Engineering and Machine Learning, supported by the Japanese government.
Ten members of the University of Abuja (UofA) community, including both students and faculty, recently completed a 10-month training programme on Web Engineering and Machine Learning. The training was organised by the Association for Overseas Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Partnerships (AOTS), in collaboration with the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) Business Entrepreneurship Skills and Technology Centre (ACCI-BEST).
Supported by the Japanese government and conducted by DIVIC Corporation, the programme ran from October 2023 to August 2024. Participants included individuals from the academic and student communities at UofA, as well as another university in Nigeria.
At the virtual graduation ceremony, Prof. Aisha Sani Maikudi, acting Vice-Chancellor of UofA, encouraged graduates to apply their newly acquired skills to solve real-world problems. She also emphasized the importance of continuous learning and innovation in technology.
