UNIBEN Student Drives Away with Brand-New Car at MTN Campus Invasion

Edomwonyi Osariemen, a 200-level student from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Benin (UNIBEN), has emerged as the lucky winner of a brand-new 2025 Alsvin Mikano car during the electrifying MTN Go MAD (Make A Difference) Campus Invasion.

The event, which drew hundreds of enthusiastic students from across the university, was filled with music, talent showcases, games, and tech experiences. But the highlight was the grand raffle draw, where Osariemen’s ticket was called out as the winner of the top prize — a sleek, brand-new car.

“I still can’t believe this happened to me,” Osariemen said in disbelief.

“I came to the event just to hang out with friends and have a good time. Winning a car never even crossed my mind. This has completely changed my life.”

The MTN Campus Invasion event was more than just fun and games — it was a celebration of youth, innovation, and possibility. Alongside the car giveaway, several other students walked away with valuable prizes including high-end laptops, MTN MiFi devices, and airtime vouchers worth thousands of naira. Daniel, another participant who won a laptop, expressed his gratitude:

“I didn’t win the car, but winning a laptop is still a big deal for me. More importantly, this event gave us a chance to express ourselves, showcase our talents, and connect with people and opportunities we wouldn’t have had access to otherwise.”

The MTN Go MAD Campus Invasion continues to tour universities across Nigeria, offering students unforgettable experiences while empowering them with digital tools, career-building opportunities, and real-life rewards.

For Osariemen and many others, the event will be remembered not just for the prizes, but for the confidence, joy, and inspiration it brought to campus.
