Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the remand of Prof. Cyril Ndifon, the suspended Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Calabar, in Kuje prison. Ndifon is facing charges of alleged sexual harassment brought forth by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).

Despite a bail application citing health grounds, the court ordered Ndifon's remand, questioning the urgency of surgery delayed since October 27, 2023.The case is adjourned until January 10 for the hearing of the bail application and further proceedings.
