The management of the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has appealed to staff and students for patience and understanding as the institution continues the migration of academic results from the old portal to the newly deployed results management system.
In an internal memorandum addressed to all staff and students, the University explained that the exercise involves transferring data spanning over ten academic sessions, representing nearly five million individual result entries. The management noted that this large volume of information requires meticulous handling to guarantee accuracy, completeness, and integrity of student records.
According to the memorandum, significant progress has already been recorded since the introduction of the new system. For the first time in many years, results are now being uploaded promptly and viewed in real-time, underscoring the administration’s renewed commitment to accountability, transparency, and efficient service delivery.
Management assured the University community that every effort is being made to complete the migration as swiftly as possible without compromising data quality or reliability. Staff and students were therefore urged to remain patient and cooperative throughout the process.
The statement concluded with appreciation for the collective understanding and support of the university community, reaffirming the institution’s resolve to build a transparent, efficient, and student-centered results management system.
